A scarlet macaw swooshes through the air
– a vision of waterfall blue, candy apple red and daisy yellow,
with claws as sharp as sword blades.
A howler monkey swings through the branches
fast as light
– with a howl like an opera singer and a long golden tail.
But despite these wonders, I must tell you, my favorite animal is the kinkajou.
